Grounds
|

The picnic
grove stage can be used for bands, entertainment and dancing. |

The tall trees and the

or festival. |
|

The main soccer field has
hosted several national amateur championships and can hold several
thousand. |
 |
The Main Hall can seat up
to approximately 300 for banquets, weddings and other events. |

Visiting
guests from Die Oberschlesische Volkstrachtengruppe zu Berlin
made the long trip from Germany and performed several traditional
dances to the delight of the audience. |
 |
The
young ladies from Die Funken der Bürgeler
Faschingsclub also traveled from Germany. They were a big hit,
especially with the Cadets from West Point, who were able to
practice their colloquial German language skills! |
 |
The men from the German Hungarian Schuhplattlers performed the
traditional Schuhplattler, including several crowd favorites! |
 |
The Valley Forge Military Academy band was impressive. The
young men and women were polite, and made a very favorable
impression! |

New Year's Eve
|
|
| |
 |
The
crowd was rowdy, loud and energetic. The dance floor was full
until the band stopped, shortly after 2PM. |
 |
The
Heimatklänge Orchestra played
from 8 until after 2PM. The mix of waltzes, rock and roll, and
big band favorites kept people dancing all night long! |
|
| |
 |
The
bar was busy for most of the night, and was a favorite place to
laugh, take a break from dancing, and enjoy a cold beverage. |
 |
Around
about midnight, the dance floor was packed as everyone said good-bye
to 2002 and hello to 2003! |
|
| |
 |
Around
about midnight everyone found a good friend or something to hang on
to while they counted down the seconds to the new year! |
